GOD IS OUR FORTRESS
Fear is natural, but fear never gets the final word. For the author of Psalm 46, he was declaring the truth of the situation in the face of the situation.
God is in control. He rules over every detail of my life. He does so not from a distance. In fact, He is present with me in the busy chaos of life and in the quiet moments too. He is present in the times of celebration, and in the valley when I am in pain. God is my refuge; he is my fortress; he is my source of help.

God is not far from us
God is not far from us but reveals His presence in heaven and on earth, in the Tabernacle, and in the Temple, showing that He dwells with His people while reigning from heaven above. Throughout Scripture, He makes His dwelling known—speaking from heaven, filling the temple with His glory, and in Christ dwelling among us. His omnipresence assures us that no place is beyond His reach, He hears our prayers both on earth and in heaven, and He promises to be with us always, even in trials.
